Dr Joyce loves building long term dentist-patient relationships to help keep your dental health in check and to be your dental confidant – someone who you can trust to give honest advice should any dental related issues or concerns arise over time. Dr Joyce is a general dentist who takes great strides to be as thorough and gentle as she can be, and enjoys getting to know patients and their families.
Dr Joyce joined McMahons Point Dental in 2021 following over a decade of experience in North Queensland and a tertiary referral Dental Hospital in Sydney. This has given Dr Joyce experience in managing the full scope of general dental practice – whether it be a check-up, fillings, periodontal treatment, dental crowns, root canal therapy, teeth removal*, teeth replacement*, cosmetic makeovers, or emergency dental care.
Dr Joyce’s dental philosophy is based upon careful diagnosis, judicious treatment planning, collaboration with patients so they can make informed choices, and an understanding of how to proactively maintain good oral health to try and avoid dental problems. When dental treatment is indicated, Dr Joyce strives to make the treatment as comfortable as possible and is experienced in working with anxious patients to help build their confidence with attending for needed dental care. Dr Joyce welcomes patients of all ages, including young children.
Dr Joyce especially enjoys preventative dental treatment, restorative dental treatment, root canal therapy, and rejuvenating smiles. Most of all, however, Dr Joyce enjoys helping anxious patients becomes patients who are comfortable with the dentist.
When Dr Joyce is out of the practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, eating good food, and travelling.
