Make yourself a cup of immune Ginger, rug up and sweat it out.
Place the following ingredients in a mug:
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon of finely chopped or grated fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon dried ginger
- pinch of chilli powder or a little chopped fresh chilli
- 1-2 cloves of garlic crushed or finely chopped
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- Add boiling water and cover for 10 minutes.
Rug up, stay warm and enjoy this delicious brew.
It will encourage a mild fever and induce sweating.
Fever is one of the body’s first defences against infection and may help to relieve the symptoms.
A hot bath can also help to induce sweating.
